“Top notch museum”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 25, 2013

This was a great place to see history. Got an up close and personal view of the Discovery Space Shuttle, and the Enola Gay. It's easy to spend hours there. If visiting, it's a good idea to get out of Washington DC, and head toward Dulles Airport to see this relatively unadvertised museum.

“Must see - NO 1 flight museum ever seen”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 25, 2013

Seeing real Apollo capsules that went back to Earth trough the atmosphere was just amazing feeling - and you get such feeling quite often when you walk about this museum. You will see Apollo-Soyuz test flight, you will see the first artificial Earth satellite - Sputnik, you will see the original Wright Brother's flying machine - an so on and so forth.
For flight enthusiasts, children and anyone else.

“Facinating Museum”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 25, 2013

Was there in october and absolutely loved it, Theres not too many places where you can see a Space Shuttle and this is one of them. Even if you arent interested in aviation or space theres still plenty to enjoy here. I would love to go back again, Entry is free but its $15 for parking and its totally worth it.

“A classic - but can be crowded”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 25, 2013

The National Air and Space Museum is a classic among the museums in the nation's capital and great for kids. You don't even have to be a plane/space geek to enjoy it. However, I'd recommend asking about the most crowded times and avoiding them.

“Very interesting place!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 25, 2013

This was my second time taking my young son to visit the air and space museum. He loved the planes and solar system and astronaut displays. Make sure to check out the planetarium, it was very cool!
