“Facinating Museum”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 25, 2013

Was there in october and absolutely loved it, Theres not too many places where you can see a Space Shuttle and this is one of them. Even if you arent interested in aviation or space theres still plenty to enjoy here. I would love to go back again, Entry is free but its $15 for parking and its totally worth it.

“A classic - but can be crowded”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 25, 2013

The National Air and Space Museum is a classic among the museums in the nation's capital and great for kids. You don't even have to be a plane/space geek to enjoy it. However, I'd recommend asking about the most crowded times and avoiding them.

“Very interesting place!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 25, 2013

This was my second time taking my young son to visit the air and space museum. He loved the planes and solar system and astronaut displays. Make sure to check out the planetarium, it was very cool!

“Great on a cold day”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 25, 2013 via mobile

Great place to take the kids on a cold day... I will say that if you've been here before - not much changes over the years... Would it be hard to update the exhibits? Or dust them.

“Space and air fans must visit”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 24, 2013

Very neat museum with so much to offer! Video in the space portion is a little long and could use an update but besides that we felt very lucky to visit this great museum for free.

Food is available here.
