“INFORMATIVE”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 15, 2012

I was not expecting to enjoy the exhibits as much as I did. They were presented in a way that really piqued one's interest and well written up so that you could envision the history behind them.

“Great museum”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 15, 2012

The National Air and Space Museum is fascinating and a very interesting way to spend an afternoon. Also it is free, the staff are also very helpful.
Don't go to late in the afternoon as some exhibits close about 3-4pm for private functions.
It is well worth a visit when in Washington.

The collections are brilliant. All exhibits arranged in most interesting way and with great attention to detail. The shows at planetarium are good and informative. Dont think you need to be a kid to enjoy it - great for all ages :) Good fun.

The IMAX presentation on the Hubble telescope is not to be missed! Truly awesome and worth the extra fee to view this.

“Interesting, but a quick visit is fine”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 14, 2012

Great for kids, with lots of interactive exhibits, but for adults, a quick walk through is more than enough time. Some cool viewpoints is the Apollo capsule and the Spirit of St Louis airplane. You'll also see some of the Wright Brothers artifacts. Huge McDonalds for the kids at the far end of the museum, although you are not allowed to take your food into the museum itself. Friendly staff
