“Busy, but absolutely amazing!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 8, 2013

First of all...free! I can't believe such a treasure was free!
We had so much fun viewing the exhibits that we almost completely ignored the gift shops...which is really saying something because we are big gift shop fans!

“So many! So do your Homework Ahead of Time”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 7, 2013

There are actually many Smithsonian. Not always totally organized. So do your homework and find out what you are looking for and then seek out that item. Do you want Air & Space or Art? Do you want Natural History and animals or American History and development. Know what you want and give yourself a limit. 2 hours is minimal, but 4 hours will cost you half of a day.

“Open Early! excellent gardens”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 3, 2013

We stopped by before our flight out.
As the building is open at 8:30, its one of the earliest attractions. Gardens are impressive. the history of the smithsonian is interesting in its own right.
