“A true National Treasure”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 19, 2012

What more can be said for these wonderful groupings of museums? There is truly something in at least one of them for everyone. They are free which is amazing and have so many options for you to admire, you can spend any amount of time in them.

“must see--although pace yourself”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 19, 2012

What a collection of museums--- and a national treasure of buildings and their contents. It's so special that all of this is free and open to anyone. However, you should definitely pace yourself, esp if you have kids, and select the key things you really want to see. Even after living in DC for 13 years, i still haven't seen everything, and i've been in all of the buildings more than once.

“Fantastic”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 18, 2012

Nothing more can be added to the already good reviews given to this attraction. However much time you think you have in Washington to see all the museums, you do not have enough. The only advice we can offer is to pick the ones you are most interested in and do them properly. You cannot get round them all in any sensible time scale so do not even try. The one helpful bit of advice we can give is that the best food is served in the American Indian museum. It offers a wide range of dishes from all regions and to suit all tastes.
