“Historic Landmark”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 21, 2014

It isn't open to go in just yet but the locals tell me its finally restored since the earthquake. If they open it I would most certainly go in for a peak!

“Closed for repairs but still amazing”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 21, 2014

Due to the earthquake that cracked the monument, it was closed for repairs and we couldn't go inside. It's still an amazing monument to look at and you can see it from all over DC.

“Thanks Carmena Diggs of the big bus tour”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 20, 2014

This was a great experience and very educative. Thoroughly enjoyed the museums and places of interest. The tour was great and the commentators knowledgeable and entertaining. Their Staff Carmena Diggs was very helpful and helped us get on the bus to union station when we lost our ticket on the day. Truly grateful cos its well worth the money paid.

“Still closed for repairs, awesome to view”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 20, 2014

Though the Monument is still closed because of urgent repairs after the earthquake, it is massive, larger than photos would suggest. We found the Mall grounds to be shabby. The grass is worn away and weedy. Sidewalks, when they exist, are woefully narrow. The appearance of the whole place suggests inferior maintenance and urgently needs upgrades as befits the nation's capital. (For comparison, check out the pristine parks in London, England.)

“Something from back home !!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 20, 2014

As the tallest Building in DC , it is really fascinating , and since it came from Egypt , where I come from , it really make me proud some how :) , when I went there I didn't know you could take an elevator to the top, unfortunately it wasn't working but will be back in business next month.
