I especially liked looking at the Monument and the Capital all lit up while laying in bed at night. Staying on the 18th floor, even the bathroom had a great view of the D.C. sites!

“Washington Monument”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 25, 2012

Due to the Earthquake, the monument is closed until 2013, possibly 2014. The monument is still nice to see, since its in the center of D.C. Around it are 50 flags (though they were at half mast due to the Batman shootings). Hope to go back in a few years and go to the top of it.

It's an amazing streets if you like history, mesumes. The Washington monument and Lincon memorial hall are on the different sides of national mall. furthermore, the white house and the capitol hill are really close.

“Washington D.C. Tour”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 24, 2012

We took my Wife's parents (From China) on a 2 day tour with TakeTours.com because the tour quide spoke Mandarin and English. We all very enjoyed the tour of Washington D.C. and Philadelphia. They took us to Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell, Outside the White House, to the Jefferson, Washington, Lincoln and War Memorials. The overnight rooms were only ok but the food ( 3 meals ) they provided for $25 each was very good. I would recommend this especially to Chinese tourists.

“waiting for 2014”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 24, 2012

This was a great site. One of the first things that you can see when you enter washington d.c., but unfortunately its not open at the moment due to earthquake damage. It was still great to walk around it and take pictures of the iconic staple landmark of Washing D.C. It's a great, quick, trip and I was able to get a good parking spot on Constitution Ave. to boot!
