“Wonderful evening bike ride in D.C.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 15, 2010

My family and I experienced a wonderful evening bike ride to see the national monuments in Washington D.C. Our tour guide was well informed and brought us to the Jefferson Memorial,
FDR Memorial, Korean Veterans Memorial, Lincoln Memorial, Vietnam Veterans Memorial, World War II Memorial, Washington Monument and the White House. Each was lit up and provided great photo opportunities. Thanks again to Bike and Roll for a great experience!

The trip was as expected with some nice little extras such as the provision of water and snacks. It was a great way for the whole Family to see the monuments at night.

“Our family had a great time”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 13, 2010

We made a last minute reservation while arriving in DC, it was a great choice to see the major monuments. We took the 7 pm tour so we could see a little daylight and some evening views. Our 7 year old was on a tandem bike with my husband and our 8 year old did just fine on her own.

“Bike N Roll - a lot of fun!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 12, 2010

I live in Northern VA and we do a lot of sightseeing when friends and family come to visit. We decided to try the "Monuments at Night" bike tour because we thought it would be fun, we'd get some exercise, and it would be neat to see the monuments at night.]

Our tour guide was Ben, a recent local graduate. He was patient with us, he didn't ride too fast or too slow, and he was knowledgeable. We wore helmets and orange reflective vests and got going. We rode to the Jefferson Memorial, FDR, Lincoln, Korean and Vietnam War memorials, the Einstein statue, WWII memorial and the White House - we had some extra time so we rode to the Capitol as well. They give you water and snacks and time to get out and take pictures and wander around each monument.

I imagine it's difficult to take this tour during the day if the crowds are big - but it was just great at night.

“The Smartest Way to Start your Vacation!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 8, 2010

I smiled when I read Carzim's review of Bike and Roll because we were on the same Capitol Sites tour last Wed. morning!! Trust us...this is the best way to begin your trip as you will get a wonderful overview of many sites in an entertaining, informative and "cool" way.

Our guide, Amy, was knowledgeable and energetic. Even though it was a warm day, our 10am-1pm trip felt comfortable the entire time. (I felt sorry for those we past who looked tired and hot!) Amy made sure we stopped in the shade whenever possible while learning about a new site, and we were given a generous bottle of water to keep us hydrated. I was sooo glad that we booked this tour on our first morning, and would definitely book it again should we return.
