“What an experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 27, 2013

Must see, eye opening experience. Seeing the artifacts, learning the history in more detail than any book of movie I've encountered.

“Moving and Information - You want to read everything”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 26, 2013

This was a very moving experience and an excellent attraction. Plan ahead for 2-3 hours. The Museum starts by providing you with a profile of an individual who endured the holocaust and you follow their journey as you move through the four flours. The set-up is similar to IKEA - you are funneled through the four floors and basically have to follow the set path. My only negative remark is that the halls can be a little bit narrow. I would have recommended wider corridors. If you were visiting peak season i would imagine it would be difficult to read some of the information and it would be packed tight in several areas.

The museum is extremely informative and facts are written in chronological order so you don't want to miss one wall of information.

The video at the end of the journey is excellent.

I would absolutely put this on your DC to-do list.

This is an interesting museum. You get a perspective of the concentration camps, and the conditions endured during the holocaust.

“Important Stop”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 25, 2013

Didn't spend nearly as much time as should have. Some expected graphic scenes, so be aware if have small kids. A ton of history presented in a moving way.
