“So moving!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 16, 2012

I wasn't sure I wanted to go here because I thought it might be too depressing but I found it very interesting. They had so many authentic pieces of memorabilia, like the pajamas and diaries and shoes that it all felt very real and personal. I especially liked the videos that put it into historical perspective. Don't let the subject matter turn you off. It's worth a visit.

“You will never forget”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 15, 2012

The museum is designed so that we never forget the holocaust--not only that it happen, but the history leading up to it.

It is an experience that has application to life, even today.

“Emotional but worth it!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 14, 2012

Not for the faint of heart! The Holocaust Memorial is the most moving Memorials I have ever visited. Not a Memorial that can be rushed through. Plan to spend many hours. Register online for entry time.

“Troubling...”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 13, 2012

If you have young ones, I don't recommend this memorial. It was very real to the point that I felt sick to my stomach. Such a horrible thing to do to another human being. Takes the better part of a day to go through it all. Make sure you have something "fun" to go to afterward.
