“Dont miss it.”

Talk about inspirational, and beautiful. A wonderful placed to read Lincoln's words and bask in the wonder of his very accomplished life.

“Beautiful, timeless”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 27, 2012

The memorial is truely one of THE places to see, although it will improve even more once the reflecting pool renovations are complete. I recommend viewing at night (most of the monuments are spectacular at night).

“Area currently under construction but still a must see”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 27, 2012

Worth the walk and still a great visit despite the construction on the reflecting pool. Look for the inscription honoring Martin Luther King Jrs. speech on the steps. Look at the view from the back side as well.

“Not to be missed”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 26, 2012

It's beautiful and awe-inspiring. Stand on the steps and look all the way across the mall to the Capitol. Marion Anderson and Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. made history here on these steps.

“Stunning”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 26, 2012

The Lincoln Memorial is breathtaking, it's really worth a visit, it's so impressive even though I'm not an American, really worth a visit, unfortunately the reflecting pool was closed for refurbishment when we were there, I imagine it's an even nicer place when that's open.
