I am not sure of the average cost, but I didn't think the hotel was worth $220/night. I was in town for a sorority convention and wondering if the price was high due to the convention or is that normal. I agree no need to rent a car as everything is accessible via Metro or a short cab ride. If you do rent a car note that the hotel was charging $48/per day for parking...OUTRAGEOUS!!! Again, not certain if that is the normal fee or if the price was increased due to our convention. Nevertheless, I enjoyed the location, the rooms were clean, up to date and the staff was helpful and friendly. Roof top pool and bar...AWESOME!!! I would note that the walls are thin, thus we had to be mindful of our conversation level. Too bad our neighbors were not at 6 in the morning. Nevertheless, I would reccomend and stay again if the price was lower.
