“History and News Media - a Winning Combination Here”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 28, 2014

If you're a history buff and follow the news, this museum is a must. Remnants of various world events and interactive displays provide visitors with enough sensory overload to leave you educated and perhaps a little emotional. Well worth paying for this museum, especially since you've probably visited many Smithsonian museums without paying an entrance fee.

“The news of our lives!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 28, 2014

This place is very well designed and laid out. One can learn so much about the news, it's importance and history itself. I especially love the Pulitzer photographs. While there were A LOT of school groups, the place never felt over crowded....just crowded with adolescents! The view form the top floor of the capital is not to be missed!

“A plethora of interesting history”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 28, 2014 via mobile

This is one museum worth seeing, despite the fee. It has had interesting and at times entertaining exhibits, and more history than you have time to cram in a month, much less a couple of hours. A definite must-see.

“Terrific”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 28, 2014

Truly informative and rather compelling. There are six levels and each one is more fascinating than the one before. You need a day here. Only one clinker. One level is devoted entirely to that Ron Burgundy movie. That's ridiculous. A serious museum and an entire floor is given over to a movie and hawking sweatshirts, mugs, and the like? Ridiculous!
