“Great place to take the kids”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 21, 2014

My six year old boy loved every minute of it and it's also a news buff paradise. Most of the displays are kid friendly however there are some gruesome images that you may have to protect the little ones from. Set aside at least 4 hours min to get your money's worth. I suggest you take in the 4 d movie last or midway because it may bring together stuff you saw earlier on. For the live broadcasting that you could post on YouTube, adults don't use the booth with the platform because you head will be cut off because that booth is for kids and short people. Make sure you could eat all the food in the cafeteria because you are not allowed to take food out of the cafeteria area.
Finally the six floor will give you a great photo op of the US Capital building in the background.

“Amazing Museum of the News.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 21, 2014

One could spend two whole days here. Start with the best first: pictures of the Pulitzer Prize winning photos from 1942 to the present. Very moving and helps one appreciate the job of a photojournalist.

“Interesting, creative and enlightens on the importance of freedom of the press”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 21, 2014

The museum presents the history of media in a well laid out and creative manner. It captures the essence and importance of freedom of the press. This is a must see for students, journalists, media practitioners and advocates of democracy.

“Well Done, But Visually Exhausting”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 20, 2014

They have done an outstanding job presenting information in an interactive manner. It keeps you engaged and learning. I gave it three stars because I found the information displays were overwhelmingly depressing. I totally understand "news" most of the time is quite depressing, but I thought they could of done a better job balancing the information with some uplifting text

“Best museum ever”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 20, 2014

They have a huge collection of newspapers, prized pictures and history of journalism. A must-go for journalists or communication students. Went there for 2 days and could have gone other 3 and still would have stuff to see.
