“You will want to spend hours there!”

This place is FASCINATING. Make sure you dedicate a relaxed afternoon to wandering around. There is also a great view on the balcony of the capitol building. They do weddings there too!

“Excellent Attraction!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 10, 2014

This was a real gem to visit. The displays were informative and spot on. It was an excellent way to spend the day! The exhibits of events were accurately depicted, and with respect. It is most definitely a WDC five star attraction!

“a really fun way to spend the day”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 9, 2014

Living in a city like DC and having access to world class free museums often means museums that aren't free are overlooked and the Newseum definitely fit into that category for me. However, after visiting I found it was totally worth the admission price. The exhibits are really well done and very interesting.

I specifically went for the JFK exhibits, which I loved and thought were spectacular, but I found myself loving the permanent collection just as well. I spent far more time there than I thought I would.

I would definitely recommend a stop at the Newseum. Be sure to bring your AAA card for a bit of a discount if you've got it!

“Fantastic”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 8, 2014 via mobile

We really enjoyed the museum. We got there just after it opened so we had plenty of tine to explore before it got very busy. I loved the actual copies of the papers from so many different historical events. Watching the news clips from the events tha occurred when I was growing up was a real trip down memory lane. We spent almost 6 hours there and loved every minute. Loved yhe errors in the
Bathroom.
