“Worth the ticket price!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 13, 2011

This stop is a must after you have seen the National Monuments. It is easily a 3-4 hour visit and views from the top floor are wonderful. The 4D show was incredible, adults and kids alike will enjoy.

“Must see”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 13, 2011

We toured this museum on a Saturday. The museum has 6 floors to explore, including a balcony where you can take pictures of your family next to the capitol building that you can see from afar. There are a lot of neat pictures, news stories, and the 4D film was interesting except it was quite short. There are a lot of interactive activities for children. Took us 2-3 hours to make our way through the museum. There is so much to read and learn. The pass was good for Saturday and Sunday.

“Great museum!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 13, 2011

This was the favorite destination of our entire family - adults and kids (age 10 and 12). It was very interactive and well laid out. The people who worked there were incredibly helpful! The entrance fee allowed entry for two days which worked out well. I would definitely recommend it!

“Seriously, the best museum ever!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 12, 2011

I normally don't enjoy museums very much, but at the Newseum I was completely enthralled. I read every single explanation on every single card / plaque / display. Loved it! Great view of Pennsylvania Avenue from the 6th floor terrace, great displays for Hurricane Katrina and 9/11. Seeing the Berlin Wall brought tears to my eyes. I don't recommend eating at the restaurant there, it was kind of expensive for the quality of food. There were TONS of school groups there that day, and I thought it would be a serious problem but it wasn't. The museum is laid out so well that no one really gets in your way. You should go!

“Best. Museum. Ever!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 8, 2011

That is about all I can say! It really was the best museum ever!! We were there for 3.5 hours and if it wasn't for the fact that we had a flight to catch, we could have stayed easily another few more hours.
