We decided to check out Snow Canyon on a whim one Sunday afternoon. We drove up the canyon and was greeted by a happy helpy helper at the toll booth. We paid $6 to get in which we thought was a deal: way less than a combo meal at mcdonalds and less cholesterol too...bonus!
Anyway, we hiked the Hidden Pinyoun trail and thanks to our handy botanical guide (provided at the trail head) we can now survive off 3 different species of cactui, make soap and shoes out of yucca, and brew a mean pot of utah tea from junipers.
By the way the rock formations rocked. Literally.
