This Visitor Center has been around for a number of years. It features displays outlining the trip of Lewis and Clark up the Missouri River which is right out the backdoor of this museum. It features a recreation of the river boat like they would have used at that time by the parking lot and displays inside of some of the plants and animals they would have encountered. Also outside is a recreated Native earth lodge. Also there are several trails that goes to overlooks of the Missouri River. We took our 6 year old grandson there and he didn't want to leave. Well worth the stop even though they do charge an admission.
