“Great views, great hiking”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 21, 2014

The views from Going to the Sun Road are awesome. The hiking was great and can be challenging so keep this in mind. Make sure you visit 'Hidden Pond' (park @ Logan Pass) - easy hike, great views and plenty of wildlife. Iceberg Lake is a good hike (10 miles round trip).

“"Bucket List" Attraction”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 21, 2014

Glacier National Park is a "must-see" for travelers! The drive from West Glacier to Logan's Pass is spectacular with extraordinary views of the mountains and valleys. If you plan on stopping at Logan's Pass, however, be prepared to wait a while to find available parking. The parking lot is extremely small for the amount of vehicles needing to park there. The drive heading east from Logan's Pass to St. Mary's was a bit tedious (and dusty) with all the road construction going on. If your time is limited, I would focus on the West Glacier to Logan's Pass leg, as I felt it was the most beautiful. I also found drivers to be courteous and patient, as some sections of the road are very narrow. So, take your time and enjoy it!

“Red Jammers and Park”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 20, 2014

We saw bears, wild flowers, waterfalls, and had a great tour guide. Our tour guide knew a lot about this park and how the glaciers formed the mountains. Great tour for children to learn about how the mountains and valleys can be formed. The Red Jammer Buses are a great way to see the area. Can be crowded and loud. A lot of history in them there hills.

“Majestic”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 20, 2014

Like all our National Parks, this was a great experience. We took the ranger's advice and used the shuttle service to tour the park. No hassle with parking and the drivers were extremely courteous and careful. Breathtaking views with many hiking trails. The lodge on MacDonald Lake was a great place for lunch and the boat ride on the lake was worth the time spent.

Going to the Sun Road is a must and the shuttle service does it well plus it helps protect the park and its environment.
