“Beautiful home in Trinidad”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 9, 2014

We were recommended to Casa Mario y Damaris after stumbling around Trinidad in search of accomodation. What a pleasant surprise when we were led up stairs to a clean, nicely furnished apartment (with airconditioning and private ensuite bathrooms with toiletries), and met our lovely hosts who spoke with us in both Spanish and excellent English. We received great restaurant and tour recommendations, they arranged our taxis to the beach and Topes de Collantes (all in safe cars and prompt service at agreed upon prices), we had a great dinner in their home with fried pork ribs and vegetable soup for the vegetarian in the group, and a big, American Carribean breakfast daily with fried or scarmbled eggs, bacon, rolls, tropical fruit plates, coffee, fresh juice and home made guava jam. Parque Central and its shops and restaurantsa are a 5 minute walk, Plaza Mayor and the Casa de la Musica are another 10 minutes walk. Highly recommend.

Beautiful people, very welcoming!
The place is clean and the food is great! Mario and Damaris are great hosts, two very nice people and I would really reccomend this place!
I stayed for six nights in Casa Mario Y Damaris. A very good and typical Cuban place near the historical center of Trinidad.
There son, Oscar, speaks English and Italian very well. He works for a travel operator and can help you with information about Trinidad and the rest of Cuba. It is possible to have breakfast, lunch and diner at the casa which are great! But the best is the Pinacolada... the greatest I had in all Cuba!!

Excellent place to stay in Trinidad. Friendly people, comfortable, clean rooms and bathrooms, great food and good location. Great view of the town at the terrace. When I go back to Trinidad I will stay in Casa Mario y Damaris.

We stayed for three nights in Casa Mario Y Damaris. A very good and typical Cuban place near the historical center of Trinidad. A nice, clean and very big room with two beds and your own bath room. The casa is runned by Mario and Damaris, two very nice people. There son, Oscar, speaks English very well. He works for a travel operator and can help you with information about Trinidad and the rest of Cuba. It is possible to have breakfast, lunch and diner at the casa. Breakfast with bread, eggs, fresh fruit and mango juice. In the evening they cook a good Cuban meal with seafood, chicken, pork... everything is possible. A good tip for your stay in Trinidad!

Room Tip: We had the blue room as shown on the pictures. Quite, good beds, private bath room, airco and a van.
