“Best Casa particular on our trip”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 25, 2012

Casa was fantastic, room was clean, quiet big and never hot. Sra Yuda is the perfect host, always smiling and helping. The food was the best in whole Cuba, and is servered in a fantastic courtyard. We had a lot of fun and can't complain about anything. Really great!!!!

Yuda and her always-smiling team of cleaning ladies/friends made a great stay even better. The food was delicious, the rooms big, clean and quiet, and the huge open courtyard was a pleasure indeed. But it was the friendliness and hospitality of the hosts that makes this casa a must. If we are ever back in Trinidad we would stay again without hesitation.

Great casa - large clean quiet rooms, friendly hosts, lovely courtyard and short walk to everything. Probably the best food I had in Cuba and huge - both dinner and breakfast. Highly recommended.

Four of us (all girls) stayed in this lovely lovely casa for three nights and we wished we could have stayed longer. We were greeted off the bus by a bicitaxi (still waiting with sign even though we were two hours late!) Once inside the casa, it was a beautiful setting, bright and well-decorated, like a little oasis in the middle of town. Yuda and the ladies who help her are super friendly (I guess it helped that we do speak Spanish) and it's lovely to hear them chattering away and having fun as they're going about their daily business. We had a comfortable double bed each and slept really well. The food was delicious, and there was no issue at all preparing lovely meat dishes for me while my friends had the (apparently gorgeous) seafood and fish as I'm allergic. The breakfasts were a fabulous way to start the day - the fresh fruit every day and freshly made little pancakes two mornings were particular favourites. The only tiny problem was the water pressure in the shower but this was barely a blip. I would definitely return.

We made a right choice staying at Dr Lara y Sra Yuda! Cozy house, friendly and tactful hosts, delicious food (the best lobsters we had in Cuba and substantial breakfast). Was easy to find it and park our car. About 5-10 min from the center - you can watch the wonderful town and its residents while walking to it.

We stayed here for 2 night in February and loved this place.
Very friendly people, clean and spacious rooms and a nice court yard to sit outside and have breakfast and dinner.
The rooms are very quiet, we had a good night sleep. The food was among the best we had in Cuba. The car was parked on the street where somebody looked after it for 2 CUC a day and the city centre is only 5-10 min walk. I would recommend this place to everybody and I I was to go back to Trinidiad, no doubt that I would stay there again.

We spent 3 nights at this Casa. They sent someone to the bus drop off location with a sign so that we would not get hustled too much. Yuda was very nice and the facilities had clean rooms with great shared space such as a courtyard and a dinning area. She and her husband accommodated the early breakfast for our last day. We ate there our first night and had lobster and chicken. The food portions were very generous both at dinner and breakfast. Trinidad is small enough that you can walk everywhere so location wasn't an issue.
