“Pelorus Mail Run”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 19, 2012

This was a highlight of our tour. You board the boat at 9 am and get back around 4pm. It is just amazing. The boat delivers the mail to all the people living out in the sound. The scenery is incredible and we saw peguins and at least 30 dolphins that just kept playing around the boat. I can't recommend this enough.

“Great on a rainy day”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 3, 2012

Even though it was raining at times it was well worth the trip on the Sounds, we travelled on the mail run.

“Peaceful Kayaking at its best”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 3, 2012

I can't believe we've taken so long to get around to kayaking in the Marlborough Sounds or for that matter doing an overnight paddle. This was our first time. We enjoyed a lovely overnight trip from Momorangi Bay campsite to Kumototo Bay campsite in April. Easy achievable paddle, simple campsite. Peaceful on the water and at the campsite. Dark, no lights here! Take a book and a torch for after nightfall or expect an early night ready for the next day on the water. Momorangi Camp very accommodating for a late night arrival and overnight parking for the vehicle. We'll be going back and hope to explore even further. Small charge for the campsite, pay beforehand.

“Simply spectacular views.”

Simply spectacular views from our ferry. We took the Interislander ferry from Wellington to Picton. The weather and sailing was great.
