We arrived at Picton while on a cruise aboard the Seabourn Odyssey. It was a great opportunity to have some local food and drink. The Green Lipped Mussels were very good and accompanied by several NZ Sav Blancs. The Irish Beef Hotpot was excellent, and washed down with super cold pints of Guiness. Bar service was very friendly, and typical of NZ 'watering holes'. You will kick yourselves if you don't have lunch there when you are next in Picton.
