“Queen Charlotte Track”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 20, 2012

Walked the QC track in September. It was nothing short of brilliant. Scenery was magnificent. Extremely well organized by Wilderness Guides. Everything went to plan. I would recommend the walk to anyone. We basically had the track to ourselves at that time of year. Weather was extremely kind.

“Helped us with bike & walk on the cheap”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 24, 2012

We wanted to do a mountain bike ride for our boys aged 15, 13, while we did a walk. Given we were unfamiliar with the area, and didn't know which parts were safe or not. The guys at Wilderness gave us directions to drive our 6 berth campervan to Anakiwa (about 30 mins drive out of picton) we picked up the bikes there and they boys rode the track from Anakiwa to Mistletoe Bay. We walked 11ks and returned back. We didn't quite make it to Mistletoe. It was a great day and thanks to Aaron for guiding our boys safely there and back. All up cost us $100 for the hire - we didn't need to do the boat for the visit.

“These guys are brilliant!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 7, 2012

We had a fantastic trek on the Queen Charlotte track with our wonderful guide Glen- he is very knowledgable about the area and was great fun to have along. The crew at Wilderness Guides went above and beyond to make our trip as good as it could be. Can't recommmend them highly enough.

“Great Experience - Fantastic Assistance”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 29, 2012

Queen Charlotte track booking for people who did not know what they were getting into - this guided tour left us only to worry about walking the track and if that wasn't our choice - gave us lots of other options. These people know what they are doing in all situations and make your trip most memorable - we would highly reccommend them.

“A days fun on the Queens Charlotte Track”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 28, 2012

We had originally booked a half day guided kayak and mountain biking tour with Wilderness Guides based in Picton, however both guides came down with something so it meant that we had to fly solo, which turned out to be a fantastic day. We were picked up from our hotel, given a safety briefing and shown how to use the equipment provided and then dropped on the shores beside the Queens Charlotte Track along with a map. The kayaks were great and the stretch of the track we covered was beautiful and straightforward enough so that even the worst of map readers couldn’t get lost! When we arrived at our destination we had our mountain bikes ready and waiting for us so we rode along the last stretch of the Queens Charlotte Track in the afternoon. The bikes were great and the track was absolutely stunning. Taking the tour without a guide meant we were able to go at our own pace and stop along the way which was great and then once we finished we were taken back to our hotel in Picton. All in all a fantastic day and the Wilderness Guides were very helpful and helped to tailor the right kind of trip for us.
