“Interesting place”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 22, 2011

Let me just start out by saying what a beautiful little place Akaroa is.

We enjoyed our visit to the museum. There's a 15-20 min video to watch which tells you of Akaroa's beginnings and the signing of the Treaty of Waitangi. Interesting displays to see plus the original courthouse is within the museum's grounds , also one of NZ's oldest homes Langlois Eteveneaux and the Custom House at Daly's Wharf. Entry price was just a few dollars - good value.
