We popped in, with another couple, for coffee and a chat last Sunday (June 2nd) while on a day trip to Akaroa. We liked the look of the menu while having our coffee so decided to go back a little later for lunch. We were seated promptly and our order taken. Despite the restaurant and outside seating areas being full our meal arrived in good time. 2 of us had a seafood platter each (including me) while the other 2 had the fish & chips. My platter had grilled white fish, a salmon steak, mussels, prawn kebabs and calamari. A salad was also served on the plate. A very hearty sized meal at a good price. It was all very well cooked and presented well. My 3 companions also enjoyed their meals.
