On our second trip to Akaroa in a campervan, we saved ourself for Akaroa and the views. I had the flounder-it was small and sitting in oil, with more garlic butter on top and garlic aioli as well, the meat was so tiny. I mentioned this to the waitress and she responded well and arranged a replacement piece of fish but this came out too late. My boys 13 and 15 enjoyed their burger and fish and chips. congratulations to the waitress who was very accommodating and took the meal off our bill, but it was a disappointment to our last night in town. It was also very cold, and the heating was put on too late. Probably not great food being a tuesday night???
