Loved Bread in Common, despite it being pretty hip, we still felt comfortable turning up middle aged & ragged & very un-hip in our housework clothes on a Sunday evening, due to the wonderfully friendly fellow at the door & exceptional waitress. The dim lighting helped us feel less conspicuous.
You share a length of long refactory tables with whomever. Although tapas like, the dishes were huge & really interesting. The place was buzzing, the kitchen is open adding to the air of enthusiastic activity. Only criticism of the menu we chose from, was that there werent healthy salad options, which some of us unfortunately require!
But the place makes you feel that Freo has really come of age. You gotta go!
