This is a great museum with the highlight (as for most Australians) being "Australia II" and all the associated memorabilia from 1983.
Especially enjoyed the audio/visual displays demonstrating the concept of trade. The museum makes very clear the highs and lows of the maritime trade.
The Antarctic exhibition that was on while we were there was interesting and interactive to some extent for the kids.
Outstanding feature was the helpfulness and friendliness of the staff and I think, volunteers. Very happy to explain further and engage with visitors.
Really highly recommended.
