Is an ok place to say room is clean great view desk girl is helpfully and friendly.walls are thin can hear people talking in next room.was charged 6 a day parking which I think is a rip off hotels should have free parking.also a tax and card fee so ad on an extra charge of 30$ per 2 nights if u have a car and pay by card.also 4pm check in and 10 am check out is very unfair your not really getting a nights accommodation are you.wasnt to bad I'm sure there's better places to stay

Visited Lauterbrunnen twice in a summer vacation. I always say that it is the most beautiful place in the world seeing most the world in my travels.

The hotel is small but the best restful room I've ever been. White comforter, down feather pillows, amazing bed, everything is white and so clean and can smell the alpine meadows. Waking up in the sound of the waterfalls is another thing, it's priceless. Opening the windows wide open in the morning is breathtaking.

Breakfast is just as amazing.

Front desk are the friendsliest in the whole of Switzerland!

My family will return and return and return again and again.

Room Tip: Every room is amazing.

Booked it online and stayed two nights. Noted variable reviews. We had a great room, no 15, on the first floor. Large double room with extra bed. Bright and clean. Balcony with views of the mountains and waterfalls. Low ceiling noted but no problems for us average sized people. Toilet with basin just next door. Shower was on the second floor, a bit of a pain, but it was fine. There is a lift if you need it. Adina checked us in and she was fantastic. Very helpful.

Room Tip: Room 15 great. Front rooms have good views and balconies on the first floor, windows on the second...

The hotel is in a good location only being a short walk from the train station. The rooms were okay clean and cosy. The staff could have been more helpful as we were off to see some waterfalls and they were not aware that they were closed in winter. We ended up finding out by someone else. The Wi-Fi didn't work from our room. The restaurants down stairs was okay and the service was good and friendly. Overall our stay was okay but wouldn't go back.

The hotel delivered everything you could wish for from a Swiss hotel - efficient and friendly staff, cosy wooden rooms and breath-taking views of the mountains.
When we arrived we were offered an upgrade for a small extra cost, a room with a balcony facing the Staubach waterfalls. When we stepped out onto the balcony of room 31 we were blown away by the stunning views, of not only the highest free-falling waterfall in Europe, but also of the snow-peaked mountains which surrounded it; sitting out on this balcony in the evening after a day's hiking was worth the stay alone.
The room itself was very clean and comfortable with a small seating area complete with sheepskin rugs to keep you warm on colder evenings.
We dined in the restaurant on a few occasions and the food and service were good. The menu is very traditional, fondue, sausage and rosti featuring heavily, but this is the same as most of the other hotels/restaurants in Lauterbrunnen. On the evening after we arrived, a Tuesday, they put on a BBQ with an all-you could-eat option.
Breakfast wasn't included in our price but the option was there should you want it any day.
The staff were very accommodating, their impeccable English putting our GCSE German to shame. Andreas, the owner/manager was particularly charming and welcoming.
The only negative comment I would make is that we asked for a double room and got two singles pushed together. I would also recommend that you leave sufficient time to check in as it can take some time.
Overall, I would thoroughly recommend the hotel.

Room Tip: We stayed in room 31 but other rooms with a balcony and similar view were available on other floors.

You can do better than this..... if you still want to eat there, avoid the fondue. They seem to reserve their stale bread for this 'delicacy' and use up any old jarred pickles to serve up with a dreadful sauce. One of our party had the rosti though and that was quite good. The service as with other places in Lauterbrunnen, was poor. Staff seem to treat the tourists with contempt. They are rude or at best indifferent. Suppose they know that they don't have to be even pleasant as there will always be a constant flow of tourists. Meals here cost a minimum of 20Chf, plus drinks.

This hotel is everything you would expect in a Swiss hotel. It even smells of pine! The staff are friendly and chatty and everyone speaks perfect English! The rooms are lovely, clean and warm. all with stunning views. Our room was no: 20, which had a balcony and a view up the valley and of the Eiger and a waterfall. Stunning. The buffet breakfast is lovely, cheese, cold meats, lovely breads, eggs, cereals, fruit juices and tea /coffee. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and everyone. It is conveniently situated in the centre of the village.

There are many wonderful walks and bike tracks in the area around Lauterbrunnen and waterfalls galore! It is The Valley of the Waterfalls. There is absolutey loads of sightseeing to do, with cable cars, trains, helicopter rides etc. Of course these come at a price but it's so worth it! Everyone should visit this area at least once in their life.

Room Tip: Every room we have looked at is beautiful and has a lovely view. Bigger rooms and ones with a balco...
