The staff at the hotel couldn't have been more helpful - they certainly went the 'extra mile' if they could see some way they could make our stay better.
Some guests complained about the food, but they never seemed to have empty plates! In fact at lunch and dinner the soup was good, there was always plenty of salad and a choice of main course. Desserts were good and included several flavours of icecream. Breakfast was plentiful. If you wanted a gourmet break perhaps this is not the hotel to choose, but certainly no-one went hungry.
The rooms and corridors could be quite noisy, so maybe in the summer when it is busy this could be more of a problem.
The hotel is sited on the edge of the small town of Tavira and next to the salt flats where bird life is plentiful.
