“could have been better”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed July 27, 2013

We went here because the restaurant we were heading for was closed. First of all a cat parked itself under the table and we needed to ask for it to be removed. The fish dishes looked fine however the meat dishes were poor unless you like fatty pork. We also asked for house wine and when we were presented withe bill the price was 13.95 - much more expensive than what we had paid in any other restaurant as it was usually around the 8-10 mark. On questioning the waiter we were reassured this was the correct price.

“lovely meal on the roof terrace”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 14, 2013

We ate upstairs on the roof terrace which was lovely. The staff were really friendly and couldn't do enough for us. You could either order starters from the menu or they came round with a selection of tapas type starters and you could choose a few from there. We did this and was not disappointed. Overall we really enjoyed and it had a good atmosphere. We chose to eat early but ir was getting very busy when we were there so would recommend booking.

“Disappointed - too many mistakes”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed July 3, 2013

We have eaten here a few times in the last 3 years and loved it, last experience in March was poor, but thought it may have been a one off and gave another chance as waiters are lovely hardworking chaps. Should not have bothered, long wait, no starter delivered, main course rushed and average, lots of apologies but not even a coffee or glass of wine proffered to compensate, owner brushed past but didn't give a toss, wont be back.

“Nice service and food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 27, 2013

We arrived at 22:00 by chance, and got a table on the terrace (we didn't know that they had one so it was a nice surprise). The terrace is enjoyable but miss a view.
Service was quick, waiters were very nice (small portuguese lesson), we declined the "appetizers" and wine because we already had it and it was also quite late but it seemed good. We had the sword fish and the squids "algarvias", first one was well cooked with I think was a butter lemon and herbs sauce, the small size squids arrived in a big pan, stuffed with cheese, vegetables and grilled potatoes aside, all very tasty.
Friendly atmosphere.
2 main dishes and a bottle of water 23 euros.
We will definetly recommend it.
