We've just got back from a weekend getaway in Kazimierz Dolny. Folwark Walencja is a charming place - the rooms do not have numbers but names related to their interiors(Grandma Emily's, Sofie's, Grandpa Valentine's, Jasmine, Cinnamon, etc.) and the garden is absolutely beautiful. Our room was spacious; it had a great bathroom with potpourri and disposable toothbrush with toothpaste. Unfortunately, it was extremely hot there (the room had only a small window). Folwark Walencja is not only a place to rest your head but it also has a restaurant and a store (where you can buy beer from a local brewery). You have to keep just one thing in mind though - the pace of life is very slow in this town so you will wait a long, long time to get your menus, place your order and receive food in Folwark Walencja's restaurant. But you can always wait sipping complementary fruit liqueur and forget about the delays. Luckly, breakfast is served as a buffet - it is on the heavy side though (sausages and scrambled eggs) and you have to ask the staff to keep buns and vegetables coming. I have to mention just one more thing - the name of Folwark Walencja's street is "Mountain" which is very accurate; it is an uphill climb from the town's center which we personally enjoyed very much.
