Came here after asking for recommendations at the tourist information office. This restaurant prepares locally sourced ingredients with style and precision. Situated in a pleasant and quiet back street near the cathedral square, it shouts quality from the start. Beautiful linen on the tables, attentive and knowledgeable staff and a tasteful contemporary feel. The food was very good, some of it excellent and served in a stylish manner. My starter of Jerusalem artichoke with crispy black pudding was they star of the meal, followed a good steak, slightly less imaginative in its presentation but perfectly good. For pudding a hazelnut tart was flawed by having been too long in the fridge but the espresso ice-cream that went with it was very good. Excellent local beer and a good selection of wines are available. I asked to shake the chef's hand, it was that good.
