We stumbled on this place while walking down Riga's famous Alberta street. The room is lovely - decorated with art nouveau paintings and old photos - a cosy respite from the wintry streets. The waitress had great suggestions about the food, and was very knowledgeable about Latvian dishes and traditions The food itself was delicious -my porcini soup was creamy and excellent. My friends equally loved their starters and main meals. We were treated to complimentary sparkling wine too - nice! And if you want one, they'll take a photo of you dining, "frame" it electronically and send it to you. This was a dining highlight in Riga.
