Have came across this restaurant on tripadvisor and it was also recommended to me by a friend. Have done some research online- knew I will love it. Place is different, looks clean, unpretentious with a great atmosphere ( was warned it looks a bit like canteen, but it didn't to me- still not a right place if you love glamour ).
Our dinner started with complements from the chief, I won't spoil it for you- but it was fun, showed the mood of the place.
HAd a foie gras for starters, which I had a few times before in pretty good restaurants, but always in a form of pate- here it was the whole breast, very tender, melt in the mouth for a mere 7.50 lvl. Shared a garden salad, which didn't just include veg, it also had some raspberries, pears, nuts etc- unusual, but interesting taste.
Amazing beef steak ( the most expensive on the menu- 17lvl), with a side of veg puree, with a complementary side dish of a jacket potato with caramel sauce on the side- delishious. Mention if you want your meet without blood, I think it is served medium normally.
No space for dessert left. Had a great time, loved the service ( knowledgeable staff), great quality food and central location. Would recommend to anyone who likes to try new things and enjoys good food. P.s. No menu online, they change it all the time- adds to the experience, in my opinion. For 2 starters, 2 mains, a bottle of wine ( not the cheapest) and a bottle of water- 62 pounds without service. Great experience.
