I had 3 a la carte courses - vegetable soup, pork with a sweet sauce and a choclate pudding. All based on traditional Latvian food but with a modern twist which meant they werent so heavy. Washed down by a bottle of unfiltered Latvian beer.
Excellent food and very friendly staff. The best restaurant I visited in my 3 day visit and the cheapest at about €20. I would definitely visit again if I am ever in Riga.
Situated close to the centre of town but away from the main tourist area hence relatively quiet mid-week but with a good atmosphere due to the layout and use of an eclectic mix of furntiure.
