“Excellent”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 24, 2012

I stayed only 1 night at this hotel and wished I could have stayed longer. Great service, modern building, fantastic breakfast, .. The rooms are perfectly clean, the bathroom is impeccable and everyting was functioning perfectly. During the night, it was very quiet (well isolated walls) and the bed(s) were soft, resulting in a good night's sleep. The location of the hotel is also very good; close to the old town and various restaurants.

The location is great, very close to the old town. Rooms and public spaces have a nice Scandinavian design with some beautiful touches in the public spaces. The service was warm and restrained, as it should be. Breakfast was standard. Also very good value.

We stayed here for three nights from 7th Sept. Rooms were well designed, very clean and had really really comfortable beds. Excellent shower with lots of hot water and for once a powerful hair dryer (useful for us girls with long hair!)

The interior design of the hotel is beautiful with really good flair, we loved the 'yellow brick road' of the hotel corridoors and the semi opaque cherry blossom glass walls of the bathroom in our room. We were in room 344 which had a view to the side and was very quiet at night. My parents room overlooked the main road and they said that they didnt have any noise either.

We were so busy in Tallin that we didnt use the spa and pool but I hear they were nice. There is a free safe in the room and a small mini bar fridge.

The hotel is literally a 4-5 min walk to the old town and about 15mins by taxi from the airport (cost 7 euros by cab) Mind you on the way back we were ripped off by the black cab which cost 24 euros so I'd stick to the yellow or white ones - and always check the price beforehand!

The only reason we've deducted a star is the service at breakfast - its just painful! The food is good and a wide varied choice so that everyone can find something they like. However the restaurant is bordering on being too smail for the number of guests so between 0800-0900 it is just hectic beyond comprehension. The staff are not efficiently organised to clear tables fast enough and it can be chaotic. Having said that we always found a table and just cleared it ourselves but you could argue that you shouldn't have to do it. In any event it wouldnt stop us staying there again and we liked the hotel very much.

Room Tip: The deluxe rooms looked lovely but the standard ones are nice too!

Stayed 2 nights with wife and teenagers on the top floor.
Great location next to shopping center Viru and just a 3 minute walk from the old town and a large selection of good restaurants.
The Hotel leaves an overall very good impression. Breakfast buffet was good, the staff was friendly and attentive.
Rooms are modern with comfy beds and free wifi. One of our rooms faced the main street, but wasn't disturbed by traffic noise in any way.
The pool, jacuzzi and sauna area is really nice with a great view of the old town rooftops. Go there when its not too crowded and you will have a great time.

We stayed here for four nights in August and had an excellent experience. Our room was very comfortable and quiet. The hotel is excellently situated as you can walk into the old town in less than five minutes. Breakfast was super with a wide variety of hot and cold dishes on offer. The small pool and sauna were an added bonus at the end of a day's sightseeing. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and spoke excellent English.

I visited this hotel after reading the previous trip advisor reviews and was not disappointed. We were in a deluxe room which was a really good size. It was furnished in a modern style with hardwood flooring in the bedroom and bright mosaic tiles in the bathroom. It was very clean and came with a modern take on a 4-poster bed which included a large Flat Screen TV which was great. We got complementrary water every day and replacement sachets for the coffee machine. ( I must admit I'd prefer a kettle to make tea or coffee) The staff were always helpful and efficient though sometimes lacking the Western "customer friendlyness" you see in other countries. Breakfast was good with a wide range of things to eat from rice crispies to smoked mackerel and with endless supplies of tea, coffee and bread. There was a spa which looked very nice but I never got around to using it. My brother, who was on vacation with us, did use it and said it was really good. To top it off we got free Wi-Fi and free use of the room safe, fantastic!

One thing that made me smile were the carpets in the corridors. they were printed to look like cobbled streets and grassy paths, weird.

I would certainly go back again and can recommend it to others

Room Tip: I'd recommend a room at the back of the hotel as the main road is a little noisy

Stayed here 2 nights for a city break in Tallinn, good location as its only a 2 min walk to the old town, check in was smooth, staff are friendly and helpful, the hotel is spotless including pool area, Modern clean and bright interior and a well stocked bathroom, food is good including breakfast which has lots of choice for all tastes.
Great points... The most comfortable bed i have ever slept in a very quite and peaceful hotel and loved the bar seating areas both inside and outside this hotel.
The only negative i can think of is no tea and coffee in room or bottled water, there is a mini bar but pricey as always.
