This is an interesting hotel just next to the harbour, still within an easy walk to the old town and center of Tallinn. The hotel is definitely not for the traditional types as the interiror is very kitsch and very bright. Most of the standard rooms have a picture of a naked lady above the bed and all colours are very bright. The suites are moderately priced, but not really all that classy. If you prefer suites, better head to Swissotel and Viru Hotel or any of the old town boutique hotels. The beds in the standard rooms are not really comfortable (you can feel the innersprings of the spring mattress drilling into your back when you lie down). The breakfast is just okay, very busy and crowded. Most of the clientele comes from Finland, and you get a mix of families and groups, business people and couples on a spa trip. The spa is the highlight of the hotel. It has several saunas and the pool area is visible from the reception, so the hotel is not for those who do not like public displays of themselves in swimming costume. The spa treatments seem to be popular and it is advisable to book them in advance. The restaurant (which serves breakfast) is good for lunch. Pasta dishes are creative and tasty. It was an experience, but would maybe not stay there another time (because the bed was not comfortable).
