“Worth a visit”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 12, 2014

Good food, good value, pleasant surroundings. Might get a bit busy when ships dock, but have a little electronic box on your table to call for service. I wouldn't mind one of those.

“Nice decor, average food, good beers, slow service”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 29, 2013

If you have time to pass before you have to catch your ferry, this is the place to beat time. Good and fairly cheap beers. Starters were far better than main courses, which were honestly quite tasteless. Caviar and salmon in the starters were really fresh and tasty. We really liked the decor of the place, even the toilets were beautiful! The biggest minus was service: slow and even rude.

“Fantastic beers and food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 2, 2013

This restaurant is at Terminal D in the port. It is a brewery which uses equipment from Germany and the Czech Republic to brew excellent beers. The food is country manor style and I had several excellent dishes there. The bar is huge and wonderfully decorated.

“Nice building, a bit empty”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 8, 2013

I went here with colleagues who recommended this micro-brewery / restaurant. There is a nice choice of beers that are made onsite and that is the big plus. The service has improved compared to the last reviews by putting pagers on the tables that will signal the waitress that you require service or the check. The selection of food is not fantastic and neither is the chef. A decent meal but nothing special. The place is big but was quite empty. I understand why.

“hidden gem near D terminal”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 7, 2013

Reading earlier reviews, many complain about the service and it's speed, but i have no complaints about it, i visited this place several times during my last stay in Tallinn and never had a problem with service speed. Foods DO take time to get done and this place for sure is not a fast food joint! Thank God for that. Pelmenis (kinda like russian raviolis) there are packed with flavor and dirt cheap, just 3,90€/portion. All but one food was really great (Schnitzel was mediocre) and way cheaper than in the "real tourist traps" like old town restaurants.
