“Unexpected surprise”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 8, 2012

We visited as a group of friends but children of all ages would love this maritime museum. There are lots of interactive things to do, flight simulator, dress up, weaponry and the highlight is being able to go aboard the submarine Lembit, what an incite into what life must have been like for the submariners.

“Worth of visit”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 8, 2012

A great experience especially for little ones ,there is much to do,see and hear when going all together! I never been before inside a submarine, you can touch almost everything there! And those sounds which are sometimes creepy but they provide a special atmosphere to this place! There is also a cafe on the second floor and a small souvenirs shop on the first! I reccomend to visit!!!

“An interesting trip.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 3, 2012

A visit to the seaplane museum is a must for anyone interested in history, there is a lot to see and do, the exhibits are mostly hands on including a submarine to wander though, outside the museum there is an ice-breaker to look over and a couple of smaller vessels too.

The onsite coffee shop/bar is very good quality and reasonable priced.

All in all I would recommend this as a an interesting half day excursion, within walking distance of the old town. I would also suggest arriving early as the museum got quite full by the time we had left.
