“Olde style apothek (pharmacy)”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 28, 2013

Working pharmacy which doubles up as a museum. Interesting exhibits of old "medicine"/ treatments from times gone by. Free to enter and can be see in as little as a 5-20mins. Still designed in it's old style.
Just off the town square.

“Fascinating”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 15, 2012

My husband found this particularly interesting, small but worth the visit - a little hidden and not obvious so you need to look for it.

“An extra star for historic value”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 6, 2012

The apothecary is, frankly, nothing exciting, but the fact that something this old is still operating as a combination apothecary/museum merits an extra star. It is only a two-room museum, and, according to my understanding, they do not sell prescription drugs, but merely over-the-counter type items (aspirin, etc.) In ten minutes you will have seen everything the apothecary has to offer, so if you're in the Town Square, it's worth stopping in, but I'm not sure it would be worth a dedicated trip.

“Slightly disappointing”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 9, 2012

Yes, it's an old building, and yes, it's both a museum and still operational, but for some reason I was expecting the possibility to buy some old chool medicine. Didn't find much, shame to say.

“Facinating”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 29, 2012

This pharmacy has been operating in the same premises for a over a hundred years, very interesting museum too. It still functions as a pharmacy to this day.
