We stayed in this lovely hotel in the early stages of September in 2006. It was placed next to a lovely little park which had some water fountains, the water fountains lit up at night and changed colour which was quite nice. The hotel was placed quite close to the shopping areas and it was close to a big shopping arcade which had a small supermarket at the bottom. It was a fair walk to the other areas of the 'touristy' parts but as my partner and i are fairly adventurous and energetic it didnt bother us. The staff in the hotel were quite friendly and thier english was pretty good however, we found that the housekeeping staff were not so good at thier english but we managed to survive when we wanted fresh towels and things. Unlike most other hotels who have thier own ironing rooms or someone brings it to you, you have to ring up the front desk and they have a porter set up an iron and ironing board for you at the bottom floor, which I thought was unusual but it didnt bother me too much. The breakfast was quite good but extremely busy everyday. There was a fairly healthy selection of food available and waiting staff were friendly. The evening meals were something to be desired I personally did not like most of the food they had to offer as it was local foods whichI hadnt grown to very well, however it was a fair price and they had several different things on offer, this too was laid out buffet style. The casino part of the hotel is easily accessed and very glamourous, the fmale staff were dressed very skimply but it looked very smart and the men just had normal uniforms. This is a nice hotel and I would recommend it to people who are going to Estonia as it is simple, clean and comfortable.
