“Wonderful views”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 12, 2013

We had wonderful views from the hill of the old town under a blanket of deep snow and out across the Baltic towards Finland. There are a number of Amber shops and artisans selling ware up on the hill.

“Like Disney but without the Disney!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 10, 2013

Its like walking around a film set or theme park but full of history and atmosphere. If you can get round it early before the crowds then you really get to see it for all its beauty, or later on in the evening you get some great views as the sun goes down.
Not to be missed on a trip to Tallinn.!!

“A great walk”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 2, 2013

Not particularly high, but gives views over a nice part of the city. Very pleasant area with interesting little alleys, shops, churches etc. Some free walking tours pass here and are very worthwhile for the funny little facts and stories

“Magical”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 12, 2013

We took a walk up to Toompea Hill one snowy day in February. The walk up the cobbled streets was full of atmosphere and once there the snow just added to the atmosphere. Looking out over the surrounding area was lovely. An ideal walk.
