“Good for money”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 20, 2013

Excellent location, friendly staff and affordable prices make this place pretty attractive. Rooms are swomewhat outdated but considering everything else we were very satisfied and happy with this hotel.

“Nice hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 20, 2013

This hotel is nice and in very good location. We liked the breakfast, it was delicious. The service was friendly. You can go to Viru Keskus shopping mall directly from hotel's lobby. The hotel is near Old Town.

“Huge, central and exciting”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 19, 2013

This very special hotel was an interesting experience. Joining a group for a week-end's hard work, it offered comfortable sleeping, practical facilities and an exciting story. Be sure to visit the KGB museum at the top floor, and enjoy the magnificent view.

Built in the Soviet era to collect tourists in a place they could be bugged and followed, the modernized hotel provides contemporary hotel services, but with a flair of (n)ostalgic heritage from the Soviet days, such as the Currency bar with its decorations.

The breakfast hall is huge, there are several restaurants, pubs and bars, and direct (indoor) access to a large shopping centre is very convenient. Just a short walk from the hotel is the gate to the magnificent Tallinn Old Town, well worth a visit.

“KGB Hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 17, 2013

This is the only hotel that I have stayed at that has it's own museum. On the 23rd floor there used to be offices of the KGB. Guests were spied on from there. Being a guest at the hotel you can get a discount on the museum tour, which takes about an hour.
The breakfast hall was huge and was very busy although you'd not have to wait long for your food. They work well and fast. Speaking of breakfast, we had to check out of the hotel at 6am (before breakfast opens) so the breakfast staff prepared breakfast for us at 5am. I was impressed with the service.
In the hotel you have a restaurant, a pub and a night club. Also the hotel is 'attached' to a large shopping centre.
It is located on the edge of Old Town. The walls of Old Town are diagonally across the road from the hotel.
if / When I revisit Tallinn I will stay here again.

“Good but too expensive”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 7, 2013

I stayed for 5 nights. Clean, quiet, very good location, excellent breakfast. The room was quite small. The hotel is very big. Dining room is like a stadium. Not very personal. If t the price was not much too high I would rate it better..
