I am currently staying at the Reval Hotel Olympia and it has been a good experience. The staff is friendly and helpful--particularly the waitresses in the hotel's restaurnat Senso. The meals there are surprisingly good and reasonably priced.

My first room was very small and somewhat dark. I asked to upgrade to a better room and for 230 Euros I have a large, nicely furnished room with a desk, sofa and chairs and two reasonably comfortable beds. The bathroom is large and has a double sink, heated floor and towel racks. Amenities are sparse, but there is a hairdrer and bathrobe.

I doubt that I would be as happy with this hotel if I had had to stay in the first room. I was told it is sometimes hard to upgrade as the hotel is very busy.

Breakfast is included and has a nice selection of eggs, cold meats, fruit, etc. - just about anything you could wish for.

The hotel is in an excellent location. It is about a 10 minute walk to the Old Town Tallinn is cold and rainy this year so it is nice to have options near the hotel.

  • Liked — The free Internet that was fast and reliable and the comfortable work area
  • Disliked — My first room because it was very small

I stayed for only one night, while on a customer visit in Tallinn. I had stayed at Olumpia a couple of years earlier and the hotel was as good as I remembered it.

The room was quite small, clean, with a modern interior and had a a very nice view of the beautiful Tallinn city. As far as I can remember the Internet wifi was free.

The front desk was really good, with several employees helping with check in/out, quick and friendly service.

The breakfast was good, normal Scandinavian / Baltic kind of breakfast with everything from smoked salmon and pickled herrings to scrambled eggs and sausages, everything was very fresh and clean.

The location is downtown, it takes only about 5 minutes of walking to get to the Old City with all the nice restaurants and pubs and the surroundings felt secure.

Overall a pleasant stay. The hotel has a fitness center on the top floor which is supposed to be good, but I never had the time to try that one out.

  • Liked — The location
  • Disliked — If I must pick something I'd have to say the room size, but that really didn't bother me much

Stayed at the Hotel for two nights. About 10 mins from the airpprt by taxi and the hotel is a 10 minute easy walk to the Old Town.

The hotel ia a bit bland but perfectly adequate. The room was small but spotlessly clean. Breakfast is a huge buffet and a high quality and the coffee house on the ground floor is great too!

Dont miss the swimming pool and sauna - on the 26th floowrwith fantastic views over the city!!! The lifts are incredibly fast - my ears popped every time I went up!!!!!

I stayed two nights with a organized tour at the end of July. I can't complain about the hotel in general, but the fact that we had to wait until 2.00 p.m. before entering the room was not a positive welcome card. That sounds rather strange if you consider to be in a four stars. Rooms are large and well equipped. Breakfast has a wide choice of good food, the room is pleasant thanks to Nordic essential warm design. An English (!) pub and a night club on the ground floor are daily open. I did not try the restaurant Senso but the dishes and the atmosphere were inviting. A sauna and a gym at top floor for relaxation after a long walk in the town, which was a surprising discovery. Tallinn is a little jewel worth to be visited for at least two full days, missing your way in the dedalus of small streets and lanes. I wouldn't stay here again if I should come back. Not because, I repeat, of the hotel. The simple fact is that I don't like these anonymous big buildings without a soul. I'd find a smaller one in the old town.
