“Excellent hotel- short walk to Old Town Tallin”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

We spent a few nights at this hotel in Tallin Estonia after our tour of Russia. Very nice ambience. Very modern and clean rooms, free wifi and hotel has a restaurant on the very top floor with a beautiful view of the sea and Old Town. There is another bar/restaurant on the ground floor and they have a live musician who plays the piano and sings. The hotel also has a spa and I had a massage which was so relaxing. It also has a small gym. We needed transfer services and I emailed the hotel and the manager quickly responded and made arrangements for our transfers upon arrival and departure. Everyone spoke engilish and gave us excellent service. Old Town is a 5 minute walk from hotel. There is a bank with atm just around the corner of the hotel. I highly recommend this hotel when visiting Tallin.

rooms are nice and stylish (a bit outdated though), fitness facilities are basic and in 2 relatively small rooms (but with additional small changing rooms equipped with shower, wc, and sauna), breakfast is pretty standard with good varieties, lounge deck on the 24th floor is good snd has excellent view over downtown, bay area, and sunset. the hotel is 10-15 minutes walking distance from downtown entrance (consider other options in the downtown - you are probably here because of downtown itself; note that some downtown parts are noisy and crowded over weekends). The hotel was overbooked and instead of kingsize bed provided the room with doublebed,- next day changed the room on our request.

I found this hotel the ideal concept of this lovely ancient city: you can see from the wonderful windows the red roof of the ancient city, far the North Sea.
Location is close the wall of the ancient city of Reval, best known as Tallinn.
The room was very clean and comfortable and the barhroom very elegant with a wonderful shower.
Breakfast very variuos and reach with best choice you can imagine. I can't forget salmon on dark bread.
A hotel where to return.

My husband experienced health issues (torn ligament in knee) which changed our travel situation. The management of thus lovely hotel responded with amazing kindness, even though they did not know what was going on. They are just that kind and warm and thoughtful. You bet I will book here again and will recommend to others.

I am a frequent traveler so with several years of experience can easily judge hotels especially those which belong to well known chains.
The subject hotel is far far away from 4* and as of today - the worst Radisson I've ever stayed in.
I booked a room for 2 adults and 8y/o child, To my surprise there was no additional bed in the room and once I asked - they indeed brought it but I had to pay additionally. I guess they assumed that 8y/o child should sleep in the same bed as parents - hilarious.....
Mini bar was empty, there was no complimentary bottles of water - which are obligatory in 4* hotels.
Only to towels per person - which is also not appropriate for 4* hotel ( should be at least 3 )
In the bathroom only one set of shampoo, shower gel and lotion ...;. I guess it was 3 of us to decide between each other who's gonna use each of them.
I cannot say the reception staff is unpolite but they should smile and greet customers - that is a very basic rule. I could not find even once single staff member who could smile, the lady who checked us in did not even look up from her monitor once talking to me - that is very much unprofessional. I guess top management forgot what 'mystery shopper" means - so that they could really check how people feel once enterring the hotel.

Rooms are small but clean and nicely furnished, breakfast is good and restaurant staff fast and polite.

The biggest advantage of this particular hotel is location - walking distance to Old Town of Tallinn. There are other hotels nearby so I suggest to check other onces instead of getting dissapointed with Radisson which is really much below the expected standard of 4* hotel.

Dear magda0307,

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience after staying with us.

We are sorry to hear about the misunderstanding with extra bed, but glad it worked out when you contacted my colleague. The payment of extra bed and two towels per guest is indeed our concept.

Good to hear that you found the room clean and nicely furnished, and that breakfast was a good experience as well.

We have noted all your comments and concerns and will follow up in order to make sure the guest experience stays among the best in the city.

We hope to see you back in Tallinn some time soon!

Best regards
Flemming Poulsen

I had a short, but nice stay at the Radisson Blu Sky Hotel. The hotel's staff was friendly and helpful at all times, at the front desk, at the bar, and at the rooftop restaurant.

The room was OK, with a nice view of Tallinn's Old Town. It was not too spacious, but it was clean and tidy. I would recommend to add some more space to store clothes, since it would have been largely insufficient had we stayed for more than 1-2 nights.

The bathroom definitely needed some improvements. Leaving the fact that it was rather small, it needed some renovation altogether.

Restaurant and bar were good, with the ground floor bar being particularly good with some delicious burgers. The restaurant had some nice choices, but the food was overall a bit too "heavy".

Overall, I can definitely recommend this hotel, even though some details should be fixed.
