“Enjoyable and a nice change from the city.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 6, 2011

I liked the palace and the park very much, it's very peaceful here and not far at all from the old town, which is good as I needed a break. The park is excellently maintained and would put many public areas in europe to shame and I like the fact no dogs are allowed as to be honest I think it keps the place tidier. The palace is lovely and must have been ikncredible in it's day. There is a small but inteesting collection here, I would have liked to see the icon exhibition but we only had time to view the main collection. Not everything is labelled true, however it was not an issue for me as I was only there for fun. Go here on a day trip or for a quiet afternoon and make sure you look at the portrait of the Princess Alexandra Nikolaeva on the stairs to the first floor. Lovely.

“Beautiful Palace, but has so much more potential”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 4, 2011

Kadriorg Park is absolutely stunning. We chose to visit on the sunniest day of our holiday and it was just beautiful. We walked around the grounds, the swan lake area and the Palace grounds and we just loved it. We also went in the Palace and the extended museum building, which had a very interesting Russian Icons exhibition. The palace itself I felt was not presented to its full potential. As an Art lover and a Heritage student, I found the palace was lacking information about the history of the building and the fantastic decor and artwork. Most objects had little information and some had no labelling at all.
Nevertheless, the palace will always be a special place for us as we got engaged in the gardens. We hope to be able to visit in the future and maybe see progress on the curatorial elements of the palace. A memorable visit.

“One of Tallinn´s pearls”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 19, 2011

If you want a tranquil and relaxed moment in Tallinn, take tram 1 or 3 towards Kadriorg on Narva Maantie. Kadriorg is only a few srops a way. The palace is beautiful with some traditional art inside. The surrounding gardens are breathtaking and the cafe in one corner of the park is lovely! There is no admission fe to the gardens but the palace visit costs 4,70 euros/adult.

“Kadriorg - a beautiful place to visit”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 12, 2011

Kadriorg is worth visiting if you are in Tallinn, a cozy park with beautiful plantings. There is also a old palace that was built by Tsar Peter in the 18th century. Don't forget your camera if you visit Kadriorg!

“If you don't have anything else to do..”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 9, 2011 via mobile

Overrated and not worth the money. There was only one room which was preserved as it was when Peter the Great lived there. The rest is converted into a museum with old paintings. Uninteresting, unless one is interested in art. My tip is to view the palace from outside, and save the entrance fee!!
