Porgu, set-down in a cellar below the streets of Tallin, is a small restaurant serving typical Estonian dishes (think pork and potatoes) and a wide-ranging selection of local and international beers, many of which are draught. The English speaking waitress was a joy during our visit and was helpful in explaining the menu. The grub was very tasty and the ambience perfect. Also, the prices are very reasonable (under €20 per person for 2 courses and 2 big beers). One minor word of warning - I took a risk in ordering the 'Estonian Farm Ale' which was in fact a pint of cloudy muck carrying the smell and taste of a pigsty. Order at your peril! Fortunately for me, the waitress kindly gave me an alternative beer at no extra cost.
