“Good for travelers who like to have a good sleep near the nice spas and water parks.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 17, 2012 via mobile

I arrived there after midnight. Lady at the check-in was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was impressively good and the personnel was very helpful. I could recommend this. Especially if you are going too visit Estonia spa or water park as this is just couple of hundreds of meters away from Villa Wesset. Spa Estonia is a very good thing and I would really recommend various spa services, terms as well as Dead Sea pool but the hotel part of it is really poor according to my own experience. Especially, if to think that there are much nicer places to sleep not that far away.

I was with my husband once again in Pärnu. This time we chose the Villa Wesset hotel, because it looked so nice at Supeluse Street. We had heard that rooms are tiny, but we (65 and 70 years old married couple) have never been treated like young interrail travellers, as the room we were given to, showed. It was tiny indeed, our beds were as far as possible from each other and between them there was a wardrobe, so when sleeping we could not even see each other. My husband's bed was right in front of the room door, mine behind that wardrobe in the distant corner.
The beds were apparently for sitting, because there was only one hard wooden chair in the room. That is why the beds were worn by their springs.
The toilet was nicely tiled and luckily there was a shower cupboard, so that the water did not come on the floor. But there was no place for the second glass for washing teeth, the shelf behind the mirror was badly fastened so that you could not leave anything on it without letting them fall down. Somebody has dropped a glass there, because we found several pieces of glass on the floor between the tiles! The cleaning was miserable, without any vacuuming. Dry sweeping is not enough! There was nice spider nets on the corners of the room with several trashes. The beds were done daily but like teenagers do at home. Towels, however, were changed daily; what a waste of nature!
Breakfast was satisfactory. The restaurant, especially its balcony part, was furnished quite nicely. Could somebody some time wash those windows, too?
The balcony of our room was nice, but we could not use it because of mostly stormy and rainy weathers. That is not the fault of the hotel!
One good point was the inverter, because the room was really hot on some sunny moments. If we did not know that machine from home, how could anyone know how to use it? That common it is not. It replaced the air conditioning?
We stayed only for 5 nights, but maybe this was the last one visit in Pärnu during our yearly visits since 1998.
We don't even like too short skirts on young maids in restaurant; some older men apparently did ...

We had marvelous dinners at Villa Wesset, twice. After the first visit our children insisted to come again. Our 10y daughter is very picky ... if she likes the food ... She loved the chiken with ham and salomon dishes. My salomon soup was just great (perhaps even too good as a starter ....)

Room Tip: visited only the restaurant ....

Small room , with one of the beds placed right under the window., which iwas not agreable, when you are sleeping with an open window.. The location of the room was on second floor, the entrande for the staff was under the room, and thé staff was having rests and was smoking there during rhe evening and night. Their talking and smoking was disturbing , it is summer and you as sleeping with an open window, and as the bed was placed runder the window this was not nice at all. Th price for tthe room was not valuable with this conditions.

I have visited this restaurant every time I was in Pärnu. It is good place to go with partner to have lovely dinner, it is nice place to go with girl-friend to have lunch coffee after coming from the beach, it is friendly place to go with family to have good meal and you can take your dog with you :). Nice surrounding, good menu, friendly and helpful staff.

Review of restaurant, not hotel: Excellent restaurant with lovely staff and delicious food. I loved the suggested wine pairings on the menu - lovely idea. Had the warm salad starter which was delicious. Our salmon was cooked to perfection. The whole evening was very nice and I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a nice meal that won't break the bank too much!

Did not stay at the Villa, but enjoyed a very good dinner for three, restaurant a little quiet (October!) but service excellent, with courses well spaced, the food represented good value for money, and the general ambience of calm and efficiency in spotlessly clean surroundings was spot on. My next visit to Parnu will most certainly include dining again at the Villa Wesset.
